resonance level

resonance level

[′rez·ən·əns ‚lev·əl]
(quantum mechanics)
An unstable state of a compound system capable of being formed in a collision between two particles, and associated with a peak in a graph of cross section versus energy for the scattering of the particles. Also known as resonance.

In the year 2016, Dr Balushi completed the advanced training in Cardiovascular Magnetic Resonance (MRI) and Computed Tomography (CT) from Germany and received Cardiovascular Magnetic Resonance Level 3 from the European Association of Cardiovascular Imaging and also received the title of a Fellow of Society Cardiovascular Magnetic Resonance (FSCMR) in 2017.
Therefore, since the effective electron mass in AlGaAs is approximately m [congruent to] 0.07[m.sub.0] (where [m.sub.0] is the free electron mass), then if a 3 nm width well is connected to an ac voltage source, an approximately [DELTA]V [congruent to] 0.3 V amplitude is sufficient to reach the resonance level (note that [DELTA]V = [DELTA]f/w, where w is the width of the well, which we took to be m [congruent to] 3 nm).
From time to time, I had occasion to discuss one thing or another with him, but I never had quite enough nerve to say, "Fred, is it really true that the resonance level in the carbon atom has shaken your atheism?
