2d and e) suggesting that PSDA-b-PEG can totally inhibit the growth of CC
rhombohedral crystals at high concentrations.
Note the euhedral and
rhombohedral crystal terminations, which may display rough surfaces (detailed photograph).
These parallel lines are attributed to polysynthetic twin planes corresponding to the
rhombohedral {1011} faces of corundum.
Some clasts are cemented by meso-tocoarse calcite crystals and
rhombohedral dolomite crystals.
It usually occurs as
rhombohedral crystals developing interpenetration twinning (Figures 6c-6d) In other cases, it has a pseudocubic habit in which angles between their faces are closer to right angles (Figures 6e) Figure 6f gives an example of complexly-twinned (phacolitic) chabazite crystals, showing streaks parallel to the edges of the crystal Natrolite occurring as groups of randomly oriented acicular crystals associated with trapezohedral analcime crystals is illustrated in Figure 6g Nontronite occurs as fine-grained random aggregates of flaky crystals along with trapezohedral analcime crystals (Figure 6h).
TF is manufactured from a proprietary process of heating, cooling and twisting of nickel titanium in the
rhombohedral crystalline phase configuration (an intermediate phase between austenite-the phase at rest and martensite-the phase present during function).
Structurally, aragonite is orthorhombic and therefore different from
rhombohedral calcite and dolomite; however the C[O.sub.3] group in aragonite is identical to that in the
rhombohedral carbonates [2].
The aragonite PCC of orthorhombic habit and calcite PCC of
rhombohedral habit show an almost similar trend in coated paper properties with the greatest smoothness and paper gloss.
Another zone of the mine, now being exploited for copper ore, has been turning out lovely baby-blue to turquoise-blue specimens of calcite included by aurichalcite, with sharp
rhombohedral crystals to 3.5 cm on dark brown gossan matrix.

The shape of the pores between the particles can be tetrahedral or
rhombohedral. When particles are distributed cubically, the radius of the pores between the particles is equal to 0.41 R.
