He discovered several other new minerals in Bolivia including ahlfeldite (below), herzenbergite,
rooseveltite, hochschildite and souxite, although the latter two are not currently accepted by the IMA as valid species.
Occurrence: Associated minerals are: quartz, nickeline, bismuth, bunsenite, aerugite, xanthiosite,
rooseveltite and two probably new arsenate minerals.
Occurrence: At the type locality, the mineral occurs on quartz and associated minerals are: Ba-bearing alumopharmacosiderite, barium-pharmacosiderite, arseniosiderite, zeunerite, olivenite,
rooseveltite, Co-bearing mawbyite, Co-dominant tsumcorite, waylandite and scorodite.
He discovered several new species in Bolivia (including
rooseveltite), but some of them described purely in chemical terms were later discredited.
