Background of the investment for enhancing ruthenium refining capability
This work compiles the impact of different acids and hydroxide solutions on the ruthenium dioxide electrode.
The principle absorption of ruthenium complexes is made up of two main features at ~300nm and at ~460nm corresponding to the ligand centred (LC) and a metal to ligand charge transfer (MLCT) absorption, respectively [21-23].

The results show that the binding energy of ruthenium nitrogen complex is low when compared to its corresponding hydrogen and CO complexes.

Because the ruthenium precursor successfully developed here has a high vapor pressure and easily vaporizes, it is possible to sufficiently supply the necessary precursor gas on the base material when forming a film.
The glucose sensitivity of the sensor depends strongly on the activity and homogeneous distribution of both the enzyme and the ruthenium complex fluorophores in the coating material.
has been granted a patent for a color effect material that is comprised of a platelet-shaped substrate sequentially encapsulated with a first layer which is highly reflective to light directed thereon and which is selected from the group consisting of silver, gold, platinum, palladium, rhodium, ruthenium, osmium, iridium and alloys.
That only a few atoms could have such a dramatic impact caused scientists to refer to the ruthenium layer informally as "Pixie Dust."
