scalper bot

A software agent on the Internet that is configured to purchase products as soon as they come online. The scalper bot enables its owner to quickly obtain hot items that can be sold later when they become hard to find. For example, a scalper bot can be programmed to purchase the newest Xbox or Nike sneakers the instant they are offered for sale. See agent.
