Swedish private equity company Litorina Kapital said on Tuesday (7 November) that it has agreed to sell its portfolio company Sensistor Technology to Alcatel Vacuum Technology, part of the French Alcatel group, for an undisclosed sum.
Sensistor Technology, based in Linkoping in Sweden, develops and markets hydrogen-based instruments for leak detection and industrial leak testing.
Sensistor's leak detection instrument H2000[TM] provides gas utility operators with the ability to locate leaks in gas pipelines, storage tanks, underground cable runs, gas-filled power cables, gasoline stations, heating systems, and water pipes.
