23 May 2019 - US-based utility operator Oklahoma Gas and Electric (OG and E) has closed the acquisition of
Shady Point and Oklahoma Cogeneration, two existing power plants, for approximately USD 53m, the company said.
Shady Point, fueled with coal and natural gas, will provide 360 megawatts to OG&E, and Oklahoma Cogeneration, fueled by natural gas, will provide up to 146 megawatts.
