shielded VM

A Microsoft Hyper-V virtual machine with the added protection of a secure boot, virtual trusted platform module (vTPM) and BitLocker encryption. Shielded VMs were introduced with Windows Server 2016. See Hyper-V, Host Guardian Service, secure boot and TPM.
