smartphone camera

Since the first iPhone in 2007, iPhone and Android cameras have become more advanced with each new version. Equally as good as most point-and-shoot cameras, sales of which have cratered as a result, smartphones increasingly come with multiple camera lenses. See camera phone.

One, Two and Four Galaxy Smartphone Lenses
Like interchangeable lenses on SLR cameras, smartphone lenses with different focal lengths produce better results. Photos from the latest high-end smartphones are hard to tell apart from professional cameras that cost thousands. Unless the image is being enlarged for a highway billboard, smartphone cameras generate excellent photos. See focal length.
