Amine acetate showed a similar behavior as sodium oleate although the solution chemistry of the compounds is different.
Sodium oleate is a salt of unsaturated carboxyl acid.
The viscosity of sodium oleate melt is lower by several orders of magnitude than that of initial polymer melts.
Treating experimental viscosity data of PP/CPA mixture melts with the content of sodium oleate 0; 0.5; 3; 7 wt% in the above-mentioned reduced coordinates has shown an absence of invariance from the salt content [ILLUSTRATION FOR FIGURE 4 OMITTED].
Tsebrenko (2) has shown that "B" can serve as an indirect characteristic of the specific fiber formation: the thinner the microfibers and the larger their number, the higher is "B." The presence of other structure types suppresses "B." Data on the influence of sodium oleate on PP/CPA mixture melt elasticity for various temperatures are presented in Table 3.
