telebrief
i. A facility in which the cockpit crew are in telephone contact with the ground crew when the aircraft is on the ground. This is akin to an intercom. The receptacle outside the aircraft is usually in a port under the carriage bay of combat aircraft, or it could be on the star-board side near the door or elsewhere in airliners.
ii. A telephone information briefing service. It is a continuous telephone recording of meteorological and/or aeronautical information.
