Heritability estimates for leg traits ranged from 0.04 to 0.94, except for
thigh circumference which was least heritable (0.04).
Pain decreased significantly with OKCE and a significant functional improvement with an increase in the
thigh circumference was observed in all patients.
The following measurements were taken: upper arm circumference (cm), flexed upper arm circumference (cm), forearm circumference (cm),
thigh circumference (cm), mid-thigh circumference (cm), calf circumference (cm), shoulder width (cm), pelvic width (cm), elbow diameter (cm), wrist diameter (cm), knee diameter (cm), ankle diameter (cm), sub scapular skin fold (mm), triceps skin fold (mm), biceps skin fold (mm), forearm skin fold (mm), abdomen skin fold (mm), chest skin fold (mm), supraspinale skin fold (mm), thigh skin fold (mm), and calf skin fold (mm).
Their waistline, hip circumference,
thigh circumference, and calf circumference were also measured by the measuring tape in this way.

"His
thigh circumference is reportedly 62cm, which is huge for a footballer considering Chris Hoy measures in at 68cm.
To assess the precision/variability of individual measures of weight, BMI, fat mass, and waist and
thigh circumferences and to exclude this as a significant complicating factor, a random sample of individuals (n = 12) from group 1 were subjected to three to five repeat measures of these parameters at the same time by different operators, and the standard deviations were calculated: repeat measure SDs were weight 0.032 kg (0.046%), BMI 0.002 units (0.111%), waist circumference 0.76 cm (0.9%), and
thigh circumference 0.79 cm (1.470%); all with the exception of
thigh circumference were smaller than the changes observed following the procedure, validating statistical analysis.
Moreover, the
thigh circumference (TC) or waist-to-thigh ratio is reported to be associated with T2DM [16-18], and low subcutaneous thigh fat has been documented as a risk factor for hyperlipidemia and hyperglycemia [19].
The final model explained 40.6% of variance in chemerin serum levels and included the following variables as the most important predictors (from most to least important):
thigh circumference, SAT, fibrinogen, hip circumference, and red blood cells (RBC), while other independent variables were excluded from the final model (Table 2).
(2004): carcass external length; rump width; rump circumference;
thigh circumference; chest circumference; chest width.
