The weld strength was decreased with increase in pressure and
weld time. The weld strength was increased initially then dropped with increasing amplitude.
Dual Shield wires offer excellent welding performance in all positions with high deposition rates and efficiencies, dramatically reducing
weld time and increasing productivity.
Using the mechanical strength-testing method, it is assumed that the interface structure at any time during the welding is related to the bulk material structure by the fourth root of the
weld time [t.sub.w].
* generally to operate with low values of the
weld time (ts) and weld force (F) parameters and high values for the amplitude parameter is a disadvantage;
Other features for consistent and versatile welding performance include spot
weld time control, an optional digital meter and a Euroconnection for the Murex MXE torch.
Weld time was reduced substantially, and quality and process control were improved.
In addition, they have a high number of inches weld, which leads to high fabrication costs due to the
weld time, material and complicated fixtures.
Average
weld time of the part is only 0.3-0.4 second.
These automated welders can weld in vertical, horizontal and inverted position and offer precise, high-quality, and uniform welding performance for bore, flange and valve repair while decreasing
weld time. Precise, uniform welds also mean less wire is consumed, which reduces costs, and there is less need for rework compared to hand welding.
The force of engagement can vary during the weld cycle and affects weld strength, as well as
weld time for a given energy setting [7, 8].
Each bracket required 52.65 hr of
weld time. When the Army converted to a single low-alloy steel casting, a per unit savings of $6989 was realized--a $4.2 million savings over 600 quantities.
