wired mouse
A mouse that is cabled to the computer. Earlier mice were all wired via the PS/2 port and subsequently USB. Although people like the convenience of wireless mice, gamers prefer wired mice for maximum speed either via USB or preferably PS/2. Contrast with wireless mouse. See PS/2 port and mouse. |
