In view of folklore use of Berberis lycium in inflammatory conditions such as rheumatism, its extract was evaluated for possible anti-inflammatory action against acute (carrageenan and
xylene mediated) and chronic (formalin evoked) models of inflammations in mice, to rationalize aforementioned traditional use of the plant.
03: LINEARITY CURVE OF SOLVENTS (N-BUTANOL, N-PROPYL ACETATE, MIBK, TOLUENE AND
XYLENE) SHOWS THE LINEARITY ABOVE 0.99 IN ALL THE CASES, CONFIRMS THE METHOD ADOPTED IS VALIDATING THE VALUE INCURRED.
The other, in 2012, aimed to identify available data on the toxicity of various chemical compounds (toluene, ethylbenzene,
xylene isomers, lead, and others) and to consider their relevance in the occupational setting.
The tensile dynamic mechanical properties of the polyamide/epoxy/20%
xylene sample after two days of cure at ambient temperature and humidity are shown in Figure 2.
As a result of the 8-week inhalation of
xylene; The lining epithelium of respiratory mucosa showed a loss of ciliated cells with metaplasia of goblet cells, hyperplasia of squamous cells and edema, inflamation in sub epithelial area.
Toluene and
xylene are clear, water-insoluble aromatic hydrocarbons commonly used in industry, which are mainly produced by refining petroleum.
The emission levels of volatile organic compounds (acetone,
xylene) to the atmosphere are significantly lower than those of combustion products, for example, C[O.sub.2], CO, S[O.sub.2] and N[O.sub.2].
For instance, mixed
xylenes are commonly available in a 2:1:1 ratio for meta, ortho and para
xylenes, but that can vary significantly depending on processing details.
In this study, the depolymerization reactions of PET realized with two different ways: aminoglycolysis of waste PET was carried out using with or without
xylene. The effect of
xylene and change of reactant ratios to properties of depolymerization products was investigated.
Xylene is the important organic compound which is widely used as a solvent during a variety of many industries and commercial processes, such as chemical production, printing, paint, synthetic resin, rubber, mobile emission and petroleum derivatives [2,3].
It's equally useful for ridding the air of chemicals like toluene, which is used in paints, paint thinners, and synthetic fragrances, and
xylene, a chemical found in glues and paints.
