(1) See database administrator.

(2) (dBA) (DeciBel A-weighted filter) A deciBel rating commonly used for measuring sound levels. Used for lower levels, it corresponds to people's natural hearing recognition and is less sensitive to very low and very high frequencies. dBC (deciBel C-weighted filter) is used for louder sound levels and is linear over several octaves.
