DevOps
(DEVelopment OPerationS) The close relationship between the developers of applications and the people who test and deploy them. DevOps is said to be the intersection of software engineering, quality assurance and operations. It focuses on improving collaboration among teams.
The term was coined in Ghent, Belgium in 2009 when the Devopsdays 2009 conference provided discussions on agile software development, Kanban, software deployment and related subjects.
