DisplayLink

A peripheral connection technology via USB from DisplayLink (www.displaylink.com). Monitors with built-in DisplayLink chips allow Windows computers to use up to six monitors via USB. For laptops and Windows tablets with USB ports, DisplayLink docking stations provide connections to an external monitor, audio and Ethernet. The company was originally Newnham Research, founded in 2003, and renamed DisplayLink in 2006.
