Einstein-de Haas method

Method of measuring the gyromagnetic ratio of a ferromagnetic substance; one measures the angular displacement induced in a ferromagnetic cylinder suspended from a torsion fiber when magnetization of the object is reversed, and the magnetization change is measured with a magnetometer.
