Gmail tabs

In 2014, Google introduced the option of separating the inbox into five tabbed sections. In addition to the Primary tab, users can select any or all of the Social, Promotions, Updates and Forums tabs. Google's algorithms determine which tab is appropriate to store each message. See Gmail.
