(1) (MH/s) (MegaHashes per Second) See hash rate.

(3) (Message Handling Service) An earlier Novell messaging system that supported multiple operating systems and messaging protocols, including SMTP, SNADS and X.400. Using the SMF-71 messaging format, Standard MHS ran on a DOS machine attached to the server, while Global MHS ran as a NetWare NLM. With NetWare 4, MHS was discontinued (see GroupWise).
