Openwave Mobile Access Gateway
Openwave Mobile Access Gateway
An earlier WAP gateway from Openwave that served as the interface between a Web server and the microbrowser in the client. Formerly known as UP.Link Server, it hosted the wireless carrier's WAP applications and performed translations between HTML, HDML and WML coming from the Web. It also provided push services for sending data to the phone and fax services that could fax a Web page to a fax number. See Openwave.
