easy to learn and use

Easy to learn refers to software that is well designed and capable of being used without having to wade through documentation. Easy to learn implies easy to use right away, but it does not imply easy to use later on. The menus that coddled you in the beginning often become tiresome when used over and over. Some rare programs have a macro recorder that lets you store a series of menu selections and execute them automatically.
