how to spoof your technical friend

how to spoof your technical friend

To have a light-hearted joke with your very technical colleagues, take the highest clock rate of the fastest CPU chip on the market today and quintuple it (today 5 GHz is about tops). Then, say for example "did you hear about Intel's 25 gigahertz (25 GHz) CPU... they've kept it secret but just announced it." This is like saying a Toyota Camry has 2,000 horsepower, which means if your friends have no strong reaction, they are not sufficiently geeky. See buffer flush and Stringy Floppy.
