mobile programmer

A programmer who writes applications for smartphones and tablets. Laptops are not part of mobile programmer disciplines, because Windows and Mac laptops run the same apps as their respective desktop computers do.

Mobile programmers write apps primarily for iOS, Android and BlackBerry phones and tablets, as well as Windows Phone and Windows 8/RT tablets. See mobile compatibility and mobile device vendor control.
