Weather in which flight operations are generally restricted or suspended. Flight in such weather is not recommended. Elements of adverse weather are generally precipitation; clouds, especially those with vertical development; storms; low visibility; and high winds. The extent of operable adversity is dependent on the pilot's and the aircraft's capabilities and the availability of aids on the aircraft.
