Amnia
a river in Tiumen’ Oblast, RSFSR; the left tributary of the Kazym River (the Ob’ basin). The Amnia is 374 km long with a basin of 7,210 sq km. It takes its source in the West Siberian Slopes and flows through swamplands. Fed by various waters, predominantly snows, the Amnia is in high water in spring and summer, reaching a maximum in May.
