In communications, a channel that carries voice or video in analog form as a varying range of electrical frequencies. Contrast with digital channel.

(electronics)
A channel on which the information transmitted can have any value between the channel limits, such as a voice channel.

9, 2009 (CENS)--Alongside the policy of recalling analog channels for broadcast TV, the Executive Yuan (the Cabinet) is evaluating the feasibility of subsidizing the installation of set-top box (STB) by local people, in order to achieve the digitalization of TV operation.
With four ports that support Gigabit Ethernet, it can handle multiple video streams from each analog channel.
For example, 23 percent of survey respondents indicated they will be moving their digital channel to their analog channel.
