Angie's list
A membership-based Web site that features recommendations for local, high-quality contractors, service companies and doctors. Debuting in Columbus, Ohio in 1995 by Angie Hicks, Angie's list covers the entire U.S., and users pay an annual membership fee to read the reviews.
