Honduran shrimp producers are projecting an increase in export earnings of US$20 million for this year, reports Agencia EFE (January 12, 2000): Shrimp exports earned US$105 million in 1999 and are expected to increase to US$125 million in 2000, says the director of the National Association of Honduran Aquiculturists (ANDAH), Alberto Zelaya.
