BAI was calculated using our model, taking into account chemical interactions of pyrite, sulfuric acid, calcite, and total iron.
Also terrific are Bai Ling as a Chinese prostitute who becomes Binh's guide to the world and first love; Tim Roth as the ruthless, yet at times oddly compassionate, skipper of the human trafficking ship; and Nick Nolte as a man whose own life has been constrained by circumstances.
Functioning as a matrix, the BAI also generates things that qualify as metaphorical objects--like the Fantomes, 1999, empty bags made from Scotch tape, or Lapsus (Slips of the Tongue), 2000, which are presented in the form of classified ads.
