Calumet is converting and expanding its existing fuels and lubes dewaxing process into a higher capacity lube dewaxing operation, enabling it to produce 8,600 barrels per calendar day of high quality base stocks.
PRODUCTS, OPERATIONS & TECHNOLOGY Refineries come in many different sizes, from 5,000 barrels per calendar day (bbl/cd) of distillation capacity up to 500,000 bbl/cd.
The new grass roots unit is to be built at their Raffineria ISAB, Priolo Gargallo (Sicily), Italy location and will have a throughput of 25,000 barrels per calendar day.
