Mr Bassi and Chamber chief executive Jerry Blackett agreed that Birmingham and the wider West Midlands had failed to state its case for big investment projects.
The Coventry and Warwickshire Chamber of Commerce responded to requests from its members to organise the group 12 months ago and it has been put together by account manager Perm Bassi with Sandra Garlick from De Marco Solicitors.
The committee, which will govern the temple for two years, includes president Balwant Singh Bassi, vice-presidents Gurdev Singh Gossal and Sukhwinder Singh Bogar, general secretary Gurdeep Singh Kooner, vice-general secretary assistant Harwinder Singh Bassi and stage secretary Nirmal Singh Kandola.
