Magnetic bearings are classified according to their accuracy. Class A bearings have an accuracy of better than +/−2°, Class B bearings have accuracy more than +/−2° and up to +/−5°, Class C where the accuracy is more than +/−5° and up to and including +/−10°, and Class D where the bearing accuracies are higher than +/−10°.
