C8H13NO2Platelets which melt at 127°C and sublime at 100°C (2 mmHg pressure); soluble in water and in acetone; used as an analeptic drug in barbiturate poisoning for humans and as an analeptic drug and central nervous system stimulant in animals. Also known as methetharimide; β,β-methylethylglutarimide.
