briefing

i. Oral commentary on existing and/or expected meteorological conditions (ICAO).
ii. A detailed instruction on the tasks to be performed during the sortie or mission. It is a prerequisite for a mission involving more than one aircraft. A debriefing is conducted at the end of the sortie or mission.
