(graphic arts)
A process in which bronze powder is applied to a surface that has been printed with a sizing ink while the ink is still wet in order to produce a metallic sheen.

1. A form of chalking on a paint film, caused by weathering; appears varicolored when viewed at different angles.
2. The application of a coating of metal bronze powder.
