Vadalia further added, “Enhanced Optical Channelized Test Platform along with accompanying software provides access to thousands of T1s and E1s directly from within an optical SONET or SDH structure.
Vadalia further added, "GL's LightSpeed1000(TM) hardware platform (PCIe Card and USB Pod) is capable of unchannelized or concatenated mode, permitting access to PPP and ATM networks, and wire-speed processing on quad optical ports for functions such as wire-speed recording and wire-speed playback of Unchannelized and Channelized ATM, PoS, and RAW Traffic.
This allows the provisioning of high-bandwidth transport service, rather than using less efficient channelized transport.

5 Gbit/s and 622 Mbit/s channelized framing solutions, and expands our product portfolio of high density framers to allow us to benefit from the growing channelized equipment market," says Tino Varelas, President and CEO of West Bay.
The UFE3 core, in combination with Wintegra's WinPath technology, extends Wintegra's channelized solutions to extend from 16 T1/E1s up to highly channelized OC3 and OC12 rates.
For example, rather than ordering four separate OC-3 metro point-to-point connections, a customer could realize approximately $47,000 savings per year with the hubbed SONET Services by provisioning one aggregated OC-12 port with channelized, switched delivery to four different OC-3s at four different end locations.
It could take more than 50 years to complete the transformation that planners envision along the 51-mile stretch, where parks and trees would soften the look of the mainly channelized river.
