The purpose of this study was to review cases of cloacal prolapse in raptors that were presented to our practice in Swindon, UK, for evaluation and treatment.
Sixteen cases of cloacal prolapse were identified: 2 cases of cloacolith, 9 cases of colonic prolapse, and 5 cases of oviductal prolapse.
Our overall success rate when treating cloacal prolapse was 75% (12 of 16).
