There are a number of variations on this theme--in one comic, Krazy Kat hangs a portrait of Ignatz Mouse on the wall; the portrait clobbers Krazy Kat with a brick; whereupon Officer Bull Pulp paints bars on the portrait. That clobbers the 14 percent average from the Dow Jones industrial average and Nasdaq for the same period. In turn, that clobbers margins for American manufacturers or software publishers. |
