(medicine)
A benign cystic tumor of the ovary, made up of cylindrical cells resembling those of the uterine tube; psammoma bodies often appear in the wall of the cyst. Also known as endosalpingioma; papillary adenoma of ovary; papillary cystadenoma of ovary; papillocystoma; psammomatus papilloma; serous cystoma.
