A unit of permeability, equivalent to the passage of 1 cubic centimeter of fluid of 1 centipoise viscosity flowing in 1 second under a pressure of 1 atmosphere through a porous medium having a cross-sectional area of 1 square centimeter and a length of 1 centimeter.
