dashcam

(DASHboard CAMera) A digital camera that mounts on a vehicle dashboard facing out over the hood. Designed to provide accident evidence, dashcams plug into the car's 12 volt outlet and continuously record in an endless loop while the vehicle is running. See POV camera and sousveillance.
