This recent enhancement in Pittsburgh is part of Verizon Wireless' continual effort to increase coverage and enhance the quality of its wireless voice and data network in Pennsylvania and throughout the country. The new, high-speed Titan Data Network is designed to carry data at rates of up to 300 megabits per second (Mbps), up from the current limit of 42Mbps on ComStock's IP4 network that was launched in early 2005. a leading provider of wireless data connectivity for mission-critical applications, today reported that its high-availability, dedicated data network has been operating normally in the areas devastated by Hurricanes Rita and Katrina. |
