pullorum disease[pə′lȯr·əm di‚zēz]
A highly fatal disease of chickens and other birds caused by Salmonella pullorum, characterized by weakness, lassitude, lack of appetite, and whitish or yellowish diarrhea. Also known as bacillary white diarrhea; white diarrhea.
