| Tokyo, Japan, July 18, 2006 - (JCN) - IBM Japan in collaboration with Connect Technology has developed an electronic clipping system, which uses invisible 2D barcodes printed on paper to integrate information from paper and digital data such as information provided on Internet sites. Is it even possible to convert old non-digital data to digital data storage, or is our historical data destined to stay in a non-digital state forever? Section one deals with the common causes of data loss, such as system crashes, infrastructure failures, or hacking, and provides some insights on how to prevent and recover from digital data losses. |
