(electronics)
A variant of the tunnel diode with thin layers of aluminum gallium arsenide and gallium arsenide that have sharp interfaces and have widths comparable to the Schrödinger wavelengths of the electrons, permitting resonant behavior. Abbreviated DBRT diode.
