crib barn
A crudely constructed barn once used to house animals or to store agricultural products; usually timber-framed, but sometimes built of logs. If constructed with one storage space, it was called a single-crib barn; if two storage spaces, a double-crib barn; if four storage spaces, a four-crib barn.
