org -- To understand how Web standards can make interactions between governments and citizens more efficient, accountable, and secure, the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C) is holding a European Symposium on eGovernment on 1-2 February 2007 in Gijon, Asturias, Spain.
The eGovernment report card was based on an extensive examination of 11,227 official government Web sites.
gov has grown to include more than 60 online personal and professional services and is managed on behalf of the state by Idaho Information Consortium, a Boise-based subsidiary of eGovernment firm NIC (Nasdaq: EGOV).
