Process oils will see the most rapid growth, fueled by a rebound in manufacturing activity, with electrical oils, rubber oils and ink oils reversing declines posted during the 2000-2005 period.
Advances will be driven by ongoing use of process oils, such as rubber and electrical oils, which are ingredients in the final product and tend to be less reactive to cyclical market forces, thus serving to offset the volatility of industrial lubricant demand.
